My Definitive Twitter Tips

i have always changed my life to account for climate change as soon as i discovered that i was contributing to the problem.
people go on and on tediously about twitter, writing reams and reams of boring rules outlining why they do and/or do not follow people. here’s mine:
now can we all get back to discussing something interesting please?
i permanently have to reassess my relationship with the net, what it gives to and takes away from me. a case in point is my friend rosie sherry. rosie’s a friend of mine, as i found out when i came across her profile on upcoming. if you scroll down the page you’ll eventually come across an ‘rtf’ in her list of friends. that’s me, or my upcoming profile anyway.
i have never met rosie sherry, i have never chatted to her online and i’ve only been in the same room as her once. i don’t know what she does for a living, where she lives or in fact anything about her. to be honest i don’t think i could even pick her out of a police identity parade.
nevertheless, as i discovered, she’s a friend of mine. and the internet continues to be a daily education.
so i’ve been very busy for months now. the client i’ve been working for has, sleeping aside, soaked up all my time. i’ve been working with interactive media arts group blast theory on a piece called rider spoke for the barbican. it’s been thrilling, stressful, fun, hell and lots more besides. mostly though it’s been time-consuming and energy-sapping. it is, however, done now and the public are currently out on their bikes riding around london enjoying the piece so i’m able to return here and get on with my own artwork again.
it’s nice to be back! :)
a little off-topic but i’ll tie it in anyway because it does follow the theme somewhat, especially this earlier post.
i haven’t blogged for a while because i’ve just bought and moved into my first flat. whilst my life shifts in brown cardboard cubes from my one-room-fits-all previous bedsit cube to my new luxury 4 - count ‘em - room cube selection i may be a little tied up with that. ’spent most of the weekend steaming off wallpaper, screwing standardised chipboard kitchen cube units to the wall and plumbing. i imagine this will all be going on for a while so things may be quieter around here for a bit.
